Huge data bases containing a wealth of information are now set up in many countries so that customers can use their PCs and TV sets to tap any information from these database. Two such systems are now popular. One is called Teletext and the other video text. A tele text system continuously sends information to the TV sets in simplex style. This is useful for displaying words for the hearing impaired or subtitles for foreign language films.
